You Might Be Getting Old If...Author Mike Garee is hot on the Radio Circuit

You Might Be Getting Old If...Author Michael Garee, Making Rounds on the Talk Radio Circuit

Look out 2009 because senior humorist and author Michael Garee is hitting ground running and he's running fast! With an upcoming sequel to the hot 200 Sure-Fire, Lead-Pipe-Cinch, No-Question-About-It Ways to Tell If . . . You Might Be Getting OLD!, Michael is starting off great by doing a series of radio spots for a major, senior-oriented Web site, as well as writing a monthly editorial column for a number of mature market magazines and newspapers throughout the United States.
"The radio spots and the editorial columns will be called “Senior Moments,” and will use both humor and a semi-serious tone to address a wide range of current issues and concerns," says Garee. “For lack of a better description, ‘Senior Moments’ will have an ‘Andy Rooney’ feel to them." “A much younger Andy Rooney, however!” he added hastily.

The Senior Moments Radio Series can be heard on the TSN Radio Network on the Web, hosted and sponsored by http://www.todaysseniorsnetwork.com/, one of the premier senior sites on the Internet, with three million plus site visitors per year and growing. The spots are set to debut on TSN in late December, early January. Click her to listen to episode one: http://www.todaysseniorsnetwork.com/tsn_radio_features.htm

“We’ve already established a very strong Web presence and a high degree of credibility and reliability among seniors with Today’s Seniors Network,” said site creator and owner Daniel Hines. “We look forward to adding Michael’s ‘Senior Moments’ spots to further expand and enhance our broadcast component.”

I'm thinking I see syndication in the near future; now thats what I'm talkin about!

NEWS FLASH: Spotlight on Eloquent Books author Michael Garee

Atlanta Resident Dedicates New Book to Comedian Jeff Foxworthy!

Michael Garee is featured in Today's Senior Network - http://www.todaysseniorsnetwork.com/You%27re_Getting_old_if.htm

This is How the Story Goes...
In 2007 Mike launched a new Web site aimed at seniors and those who love them, http://www.seniormomentsonline.org/. One of the regular site features is “The Lighter Side,” and as the title suggests, it is there that the focus is on some of the more humorous aspects of being a senior. (And, as Mike points out, there are quite a few!) Some books Mike and his wife, Lynda, have found hilariously funny over the years is the You Might Be a Redneck If . . . series, written and published by one of the funniest, best comedians on the planet, Jeff Foxworthy. So, in an early attempt to generate material for “The Lighter Side,” Mike and Lynda began batting around some “You Might be Getting Old If . . .” one-liners, à la Foxworthy. Mike said they found it great fun (they're easily entertained these days, he said), and 200 of those one-liners they considered to be “keepers” are included in Mike's new book.
