One special category Social Media site is YouTube. In January 2008 alone, nearly 79
million users watched over 3 billion videos on YouTube. As of April 9, 2008 had about 3.75 Million user channels. That is 3.75 MILLION people that have accounts there that turn to
YouTube for entertainment, information, and societal connection! That isn't even counting
the number of people that simply go there to WATCH videos, but only the amount of
people that are actually registered with an account.

We use the power that YouTube already has to attract attention to our authors. Today, YouTube has 71 million unique users each month and has the 6th largest audience on the Internet.

Online Video isn't the future, it's the present: 75% of Americans watched a video online last month. And YouTube is far and away the leader in this space with hundreds of millions of videos viewed daily.
