Why do I need you to format my book to go on the Kindle
and other e-readers?

The Kindle and other e-readers are not set up to display PDFs and many other file types uploaded directly to them; at least not very well. The following are examples of a book uploaded to the Kindle and viewed on their sample reader with and without our formatting.

Note that without our formatting the pages all run together and page numbers are included in the middle of the text, even though the Kindle does not use them because there is no set page size on the Kindle. Page lengths are determined by the user’s font size choice.

Again, notice the last part of the Acknowledgments page and the Roman numeral page number are mixed in with the Prologue in the unformatted upload. Also, everything defaults to a regular paragraph format. Our formatting looks just like the printed book’s pages.
