Virtual Book Tours
Promote your book without ever leaving home!

For more information, please email us.

Virtual Book Tours (VBTs) are one of the hottest promotional activities around.  You’ll be able to promote your book through blogs, social networking sites, article syndication, Internet radio shows, book reviews, interviews, guest spots and more.

The cost involved with a traditional book tour can be more than the typical author can handle, not to mention the time involved as you drive to the site, set up, sit around, and hope that you sell some books then it’s on to the next place.  There’s no better way to create buzz about your work and saturate the internet with your name and book title than through a VBT.

With a VBT you can be sure that you’re dealing with a targeted audience who’s interested in your specific type of book.  Instead of a typical book tour where you go to the customers, with a VBT the customers come to you!

What Are The Benefits of a Virtual Book Tour?

A VBT lets you to promote your book directly to the people who are most interested in your genre.  With every site you visit, it creates a link leading back to your book sales page that will be around for years to come.  Unlike a regular book tour where once it’s over, it’s over.

A VBT lets the professional media find you.  Nowadays over 98% of the media find their experts through the Internet.  Building the biggest online platform that you can is a must if you want to be seen by editors of newspapers, magazines, TV and radio, as well as agents and publishers.

A VBT helps you to rise head and shoulders above the crowd of other authors.  Wikipedia statistics show that there are over 200,000 titles released in the UK, and more than 172,000 released in the US each year.  Unless you do all you can to build a fan base and “book buzz” you’ll drown in a sea of authors.

How Does A Virtual Book Tour Work?

First we’ll take a look at your book’s subject and set up a tour for you based on your specific niche.  This may include blogs, groups, social networking sites, Internet radio shows, and websites.  We’ll also submit an informational article to directories that will post your work to their sites, adding to the massive amount of exposure you’ll already be getting through the VBT alone.  These article syndication sites have readers in the tens of thousands each and every day, which equals potential buyers for your book!

After you sign up for your VBT we'll send you all of the information you need to get started, along with some helfpul hints to make your tour as successful as possible.  Some of the forms we'll include will be author interview questions, blog post ideas, and a FAQ sheet. We'll use these to send to the various tour hosts where they'll post them during your tour.  It's that simple!

How Long Does A VBT Last?

Your book tour will be 7 days long.  This means that each day for 7 days you'll be "on tour" at a different site.  Once we get your tour dates and places confirmed, you can tell family and friends, as well as posting your tour schedule to your website and social media profiles.

How Long Does It Take To Set Up A VBT?
We usually ask for a one month time period in which to set up your tour.  We want to focus on quality sites and it takes time to get things just right.  Once everything is in place is should run quite smoothly.

What Will Happen When You’re On Tour?

This depends on the type of book you’ve written, but you can expect to be featured on tour on high traffic websites, blogs, social networking sites, and article directory sites.  We do our best to stick with your niche and focus on tour places that relate to the genre of your book.  If you wrote a book on health, we’ll focus on health related sites.  If you wrote a romance, we’ll focus on romance sites.  As an added bonus you’ll most likely be touring on a few general topic sites since they tend to get a lot of traffic.  Along with your press release, a few different interviews, and an article or two, we’ll send an electronic copy of your book to the site owner and ask that they do a review with a link that goes directly to your book’s sales page.

Your Role In A VBT--

After you've filled out your forms, we'll send those off to the VBT host sites.  Your role can be as involved or as remote as you want it to be.  We recommend that you check your host site a few times throughout the day and if anyone has left you a comment, it's good to comment back.  Although you don't have to be glued to the computer, the more you can interact with people, the faster you can build book buzz and your fan base.  To make your tour as successful as possible, we have a whole page of helpful hints we'll send once you sign up for your VBT.

As you can see, by doing a Virtual Book Tour you’re doing all you can to get attention for your book.  It’s one of the most cost effective sales tools around!  Best of all, you never have to leave home!  Book your VBT today and start creating buzz for your book!
